Bryan Tallant
M.Sc. graduate
Bryan studied the kinetics of arsenic mineral dissolution in groundwater by dissolved oxygen.
By measuring the rates of dissolution of arsenopyrite, a better understanding of the natural sources of arsenic in groundwater can be achieved, thereby improving modeling of arsenic contamination. The stability of arsenic phases formed during in situ remediation can also be assessed.
Bryan is now employed by BP working on MTBE, arsenic and ozone contamination in groundwater.
